From its inception in 1979, Farm Neck's guiding principle has been dedicated to creating a very unique place, sensitive to both the enviroment and our community. In addition to being good stewards of the land, the Board of Directors believed we had an obligation to assist our fellow Islanders however and whenever we could. On our 10th anniversary in 1989, the Farm Neck Foundation was established to expand upon the common belief that we had a responsibility to "give back" to our island community.
The formation of Farm Neck Foundation was our way to put words into action and demonstrate our shared commitment. All across the Island there are many dedicated charitable agencies, partnerships and concerned citizens working tirelessly to protect the unique character of the Island. Although diverse in their missions and passionate about their cause, they all share a universal need for funding to accomplish their aspirations.
To date, the FN Foundation has provided over $1.3 million to those working to preserve, protect and promote all the things that make the Vineyard the very special place it is. This has all been possible through the generosity our members, homeowners and long-time patrons and friends of Farm Neck.
