Etiquette & Rules
Etiquette
Proper attire is required at all times. Please, no denim.
Please replace all divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps after playing out.
Please play "Ready Golf"! Slow play detracts from everyone’s enjoyment of the course.
Remember, three minutes is the time limit for searching for a lost ball.
Please keep carts on paths, fairways or in maintained rough. Do not drive carts in native grasslands or woods.
Local Rules
U.S.G.A. rules govern all play.
See Farm Neck scorecard for local rules.
Proper attire and etiquette is required at all times. Please, no denim.
All players must check in at the Golf Shop before the start of play.
Additional riders or walkers are not permitted on the golf course
Once on the course, the Ranger's instructions must be respected and followed.
The Club considers the speed of play of paramount importance and has a goal of "four hour golf." Please keep pace with the group in front of you. The Ranger will ask slow players to skip open holes or request they play the course another day if unable to keep pace.
All double rail fences on the golf course are considered to be integral parts of the course. Relief may not be taken without penalty.
All low-lying single rail fences on the course are immovable obstructions. Relief may be taken without penalty.
On the left side of the 13th and 14th holes, out of bounds is defined by the bike path which runs along Beach Road.
Any ball moved or stolen by seagulls should be moved back or played at the original lie.
Electric carts must remain on cart paths, roughs or fairways; do not drive cart into high grasses or woods.
No more than two players are allowed on golf carts.
Remember, three minutes is the time limit for searching for a lost ball.
Practicing is not allowed on the golf course. A practice range along with putting, pitching and chipping greens are available on the Club grounds. Driving range balls are not allowed on the golf course.
Pets are not allowed to accompany players on the course.
Please do not litter. There is a receptacle at each tee.
