Alison Shaw fell in love with the Vineyard as a summer kid and has made the Island her home for the past 25 years. Photographing the Island has been Alison's passion, working first in black and white for the Vineyard Gazette, and in more recent years photographing in a saturated, luminous palette of color. Turning her camera on Farm Neck has been magic for Alison—the misty mornings, pristine greens, fields of wildflowers, bursts of color, views both subtle and stunning, and the dramatic slant of late afternoon light under crisp October skies.

Alison's fine art photography can be seen in her own Alison Shaw Gallery located on Dukes County Avenue in Oak Bluffs, as well as the Granary Gallery in West Tisbury, and galleries across the globe. You may also see her work at www.alisonshaw.com.
