I have been visiting Martha's Vineyard for many years. As a child, I traveled to the Island to surf cast off the beach at Squibnocket for blues and bass. Now my family has a home in Mink Meadows and we are seasonal residents.

Painting Farm Neck has been a wonderful experience. With each season, the mood of the course changes, depending on the light reflecting off the many forms found in the landscape. These shapes and patterns are dramatic and rhythmical. The trees, shadows, ponds and marsh grasses all relate to one another in harmony. Capturing the balance of nature has been the theme of my work. The course is beautiful, and it has been a pleasure to walk it this past year.

I exhibit at the Old Sculpin Gallery and I am on the board of directors of the Featherstone Center for the Arts. Off-Island, I am represented by Bill St. George of the St. George Gallery on Newbury Street in Boston.
