Growing up and working on the Vineyard has given me an opportunity to see the Island inside and out, or so I thought. I had rarely spent any time on a golf course until this project. At first, I was not impressed, but as time passed I began to see the sheer beauty of the course and it's surroundings. I also found that it was permissible to break one of the cardinal rules of landscape photography, shooting in the middle of the day.

I am amazed at the amount of care it takes to keep the course pristine, how early the crew starts work, and the results that they get day in and day out. I was equally impressed with the staff and management for their courtesy, help and professionalism throughout this task and am grateful for all their assistance. My only regret was that the time was short and like many things in life, just when you've hit your stride, it's time to move on.
