Stockholder Full Membership
Annual dues: $4,300
A lifetime family membership available to anyone who owns both a common share of Farm Neck Golf Club and a house lot within the Farm Neck community. Stockholder Full Memberships are limited to 50.
Initiation fee: $50,000, payable over 4 years (50% refundable)
Annual dues: $4,300
A lifetime family membership that became available after the initial 150 Charter Memberships were filled. The number of Full Memberships authorized is determined from year to year by a vote of the Board of Directors. Each membership includes a spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21. An application for membership must be endorsed by a Full Member in good standing.
Each Full Member is required to pay an initiation fee of $50,000 (50% refundable). This fee, which is non-proprietary and will not bear interest, will be partially refunded to the Member under certain conditions when he or she ceases to be a member of the Club. The principal condition is that the Club will continue to have the same number of Full Members after any initiation fee has been refunded as it had before the refund. Refunds will be made over the same number of years as the initiation fee was paid in, beginning when a new member succeeds the retired membership.
Upon petition and Board approval, Full Memberships may be transferred to any child of a Full Member upon their retirement or death and upon payment of the difference (if any) between the initiation fee paid by the parent and the initiation fee due at the time of the transfer.
Members have charge privileges for all fees incurred at the Club. All charges are payable within 30 days of billing. If any member’s financial obligations to the Club become over 60 days past due, that Member’s playing privileges at the Club shall be suspended until all obligations are brought current. Any Member still not current by December 31st will face permanent revocation of his or her membership.
Associate Full Membership
21–25 years old: $2,200
26–30 years old: $2,800
31–34 years old: $3,400
35 and older: $4,300
A lineal membership available to any 21 to 35-year-old son or daughter of a Full Member in good standing who has been a member for at least two years. Applicants must be at least 20 and no more than 34 years of age at the time of membership application. The number of Associate Memberships authorized is determined from year to year by a vote of the Board of Directors. Any request for an Associate Membership must be endorsed by an active Member parent. If there are more applicants than Membership slots available, the order of acceptance for Membership shall be based on the member class and seniority of the sponsoring parents. Stockholder Full Members shall have priority; next come Charter Full Members; followed by Full Members. The endorsing parent shall remain responsible for the conduct and financial obligations of the son or daughter during the first five years of membership.
The rules and privileges of Associate Membership shall be the same as Full Membership except that Associate Members have five days instead of seven for advanced tee time privileges and Associate Membership is an individual membership until the age of 35. When an Associate reaches age 35, the membership automatically becomes a family membership to include their spouse and children under 21. Associate Members may request a change from single to family membership before reaching the age of 35, when family membership becomes automatic.
The dues for family Associate Membership (at any age) shall be the same as Full Membership. Additionally, after reaching age 35, Associates will become eligible for Full Membership. The placement on this wait list shall be in the same order as the wait list for Associate Membership, dependent on the parents’ membership class and seniority. The Board of Directors will annually review Membership levels and invite Associates to join as Full Members (for 1/2 the published initiation fee) only as space permits. Upon invitation, the Associate’s Membership is automatically retired and the vacancy is filled by the next applicant on the Associate wait list. There is no initiation fee for Associate Membership and annual dues are graduated according to age.
Members have charge privileges for all fees incurred at the Club. All charges are payable within 30 days of billing. If any Member’s financial obligations to the Club become over 6o days past due, that Member’s playing privileges at the Club shall be suspended until all obligations are brought current.
